Hey.... just wanted you to know I had written a review of your book , and
not sure if it went in the correct place... anyway, here it is...
What a wonderful book! I can see what an inspiring,
motivating, positive influence this would have on kids. But there is more to it
than that. All children need a place that they can go and allow that wonderful
imagination its freedom. Great minds have been exercised for each individual on
their own “Wisdom Pond”. It’s called ‘creativity! I would love to go
there…
And you know, adults need the same thing! I liked Mr.
Mahaffy, but I love Whurly!!!
Cindy and Jerry, go to your own ‘Wisdom Pond’, keep
creating! It’s wonderful!

After reading “Mr. Mahaffy on Wisdom Pond”, I felt
it sends a very positive message to children. It has a refreshing
story line. I started reading the book late one evening and hated
to put it down. I finished it the next morning. I am anxious to
read the sequels to this book and implement them in my classroom.

Cindy and
Jerry,
Thank you
for letting me read your manuscript about Mr.
Mahaffy and his friends.
What a
wonderful book for young readers to be able to
curl up in a comfy chair in front of a window
on a lazy day and read about the lives of Mr.
mahaffy and his friends. It reminds me of the
times I used to enjoy my Nancy Drew mysterys.
Yes, I can remember that far back. Mr. Mahaffy
and his friends have lives just like your
young readers and it's a womderful way for
them to learn some of the lessons of life that
we have to learn. Mostly I think they will
learn about loving their friends,
responsibility and resolving little
problems as they go thorough their daily
lives. And the really good thing is, they will
be able to look forward, with
anticipation, to the next edition
coming out to find out what else Mr. Mahaffy
and his friends are up to. WHAT FUN! I'm
anxious myself to find out if Mr. Mahaffy
becomes a big GUITAR PICKING
SUPERSTAR.

"I love this
story!!! It has practical advice
as well as spiritual wisdom, and sets an
example of reverence for all of God's
Creations. It is inspiring not only for
children, but also for the parents
reading this heartwarming bedtime story.
From now on I want to visit Wisdom
Pond, too, and dream of a wonderful

Re: Mahaffy Book
OH MY GOD!!! WHAT A WONDERFUL STORY!!! I am
so VERY, VERY impressed!!! I know this book
was written for children and to teach them and
help them get through life with much needed
lessons in a positive manner, but when I
started reading this story, I couldn't stop
until the end. It was a great help in
reminding me to see the beauty in all living
things and in reminding me of lessons that
I've learned but tend to forget with each busy
passing day.
It is written in such a way that each
charactor is vividly seen in my mind's eye and
each one pops to life. It is beautifully
written. I am anxiouly waiting for it to come
out in the stores and I am also anxiously
waiting for the sequels that I KNOW will
follow...not to mention the movies. It is
definitely a book that I would have to have if
my children were still young enough to read
to. I will definitely buy it and have it on
hand for the day that I have
grandchildren.
Thank you Cindy and Jerry for bringing such
a wonderful story and charactors into
our lives. SUPER, FANTASTIC JOB WELL DONE and
WELL WRITTEN. Keep up the wonderful work and
please bring us more Mr. Mahaffy
stories.
Thank you!

The world of Mr. Mahaffy and his friends on
Wisdom Pond will delight readers young and
old. The stories have a particular appeal to
the young imagination and their playground
sense of justice. Parents and grandparents
will truly enjoy reading these adventures to
toddlers at bed time, and I sincerely hope to
see Mr. Mahaffy included on every reading list
in elementary schools. Jerry and Cindy should
be extremely proud of their legacy
contribution to children's
literature.
